River trekking tours in Crete-Kourtaliotis river-Preveli palm beach :

This is an  amazing experience  of a  river-trek day, through Kourtaliotis river. We start   from  its sources to Preveli Palm beach. In summer time  we start our adventure with a  refreshing shower in the water-falls . Walking in the riverbed we will come across an abandoned olive oil mill, a Venetian bridge and the forest of Palm trees. We have the opportunity to swim, either in the river or in the sea, before we continue to visit the monastery of  Prevely . (About 4 kms , 3 hrs).Small groups , up to 6 persons.

Participation Requirements: In order to participate in this activity, you must have basic physical condition and know how to swim.What you need to have with you is a pair of sandals or athletic shoes that will get wet, a hat, sun glasses, a back pack and a flask, light food (raisins, chocolate, sandwich), swimming suit and a towel.
